DADA PRODUCTS with MORINGA
DADA uses the extremely nutritious dried and ground Moringa leaves as a supplement in our Tagliatelle Moringa and as an addition for cosmetics for its power to prevent skin infections.
Moringa oleifera – known as mronge in Swahili and the Horse radish tree in English – is a fast growing, hot climate, small tree native to India, Malaysia and the Middle East that was introduced into East Africa in the early 1900’s and is now naturalised in many areas. It is a very useful tree, easy to establish and adaptable to a wide range of sites in the hotter areas of East Africa being both drought tolerant and able to withstand temperatures up to 40º C. It is used as food for both human consumption and animal feed, produces oil from the seeds that can be sold, is very good bee forage, and is a useful medicine for treating skin ailments. It can be grown as a crop or used as an agroforestry tree as it assists in erosion control and has only light shade which is not detrimental to adjacent crops. The seeds also contain an ingredient in the kernel that will purify dirty water of both soil and bacterial contamination.
Gently cleansing and energizing. A finely grained pumice soap bar with nine caring oils and uplifting essential Lime oil. Fresh Aloe vera juice, Roibos tea, hand-pounded Turmeric root and Baobab leaves stimulate blood circulation and help to remove dead cells. Essential Lime oil and vitamin-rich Baobab fruit powder replenish with nutrients and have a reviving effect. Dip foot scrub into water and scrub wet soles of feet until lather forms. Wash and rinse as usually. For best results please apply Dada Foot Balm to trap moisture while feet are still damp.
Baobab Cleansing Face Mask is suitable for all skin types. Alpha hydroxy acids naturally occurring in Baobab fruit gently loosen dead skin flakes and open clogged pores. Organic Moringa leaf is rich in antioxidants protecting the skin against free radicals while minerals and vitamins nourish your skin and let it glow. Baobab Cleansing Face Mask is especially suitable as part of a facial treatment.
Tagliatelle Moringa is a delicious hand made pasta enhanced with ground fresh Moringa leaves. The leaves have a high protein content and are rich in vitamins A and C, calcium, iron and phosphorus. Moringa trees grow in Zanzibar and are known for their nutricious value. Tagliatelle Moringa is dried in specially designed solar dryers and packaged carefully. Boil Tagliatelle Moringa in plenty of salt water until al dente. Serve immediately with a sauce of your liking.

Open one packet into small bowl or cup. Stir in two tablespoons (20ml) of boiling water until the mask has the consistency of custard. Allow to cool. For instant rehydration apply to clean skin and allow to absorb for 5min. Rinse with cool water. You can substitute the water with fresh fruit juice for an extra-exfoliating effect, or add a few drops of Baobab oil for rejuvenating boost. For a peel-off mask, apply thinly to clean skin and allow to dry. Then peel off. In this way, skin flakes and impurities are gently removed. Rinse with cool water.
