Sweet Potato – the queen of roots
Rich in minerals, dietary fiber and vitamins, especially vitamin A, sweet potato contains a very high amount of manganese and helps to support healthy bones, stabilizes blood sugar levels and protects from free radicals. Sweet Potato flour adds a delicious exotic flavour to bread, cakes and pancakes, or gravies and custards. It can be used as a gluten-free alternative to wheat flour. Farmed small scale on the island, the sweet potatoes are carefully selected and cleaned before being dried in special solar dryers and pounded in traditional mortars typical for the region. Packaged immediately, the flour retains its rich flavour and high nutrition value. Please also try Dada Traditional Zanzibar Sauce with Fresh Sweet Potatoe Leaves.
Breadfruit – wholesome bakery in a tree
Breadfruit is an excellent source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, B1 and B6. It contains a high amount of potassium which helps to maintain the bodies’ cell electrolyte balance necessary to release energy from protein, fat and carbs during metabolism. It also is a good source of vitamin B3 which helps to lower cholesterol levels as well as stabilizing blood sugar. It can be used as a gluten-free alternative to wheat flour in baking and cooking. Farmed small scale on the island, breadfruits are carefully selected and cleaned before dried in special solar dryers and pounded in traditional mortars typical for the region. Packaged immediately, the flour retains its rich flavour and high nutrition value.

Wow. Thank you Sandra for the compliments!
-The Dada Team
message from: Sandra
Hi!
This summer I visited your shop when I was in Zanzibar for vacations. I bought home one of your lovely soaps (the one with zanzibari sand in it) and it turned out to be the best soap I’ve ever tried! I have worked in cosmetics for many years so I’ve tried a lot of different soaps… none has ever even come close to yours
I live in Sweden and won’t visit Zanzibar anytime in the near future. Do you have any retailers in Europe or do have any possibility to take orders and ship to Sweden?
Thanks in advance
/Sandra from Sweden
