  • DADA cassava crisps

DADA woman collects the sun dried cassava slices. After deep-frying the crisps are salted and spiced.

These delicious crisps are made from fresh cassava roots grown by small scale farmers in Zanzibar.
Thinly cut and deep-fried in pure vegetable oil they are spiced with sea salt and a blend of island spices.
Enjoy as snack when on the move, or while relaxing with a drink.
Please try as well plantain crisps, taro crisps and sweet potato crisps.
Available at: MOTO Shop, HurumziStr. 416, Stonetown, Zanzibar or at MIGOZ Supermarket

Safari Blue took 300 guests on a boat excursion to an island in the Menai Bay Conservation Area.

After snorkelling and delicious dinner the guests took a stroll along the stands with original Zanzibar products.

Dada Baobab Jam caught most attention and was our best selling product of the day.

Baobab Jam is available at the Moto Shop in Stone Town, Zanzibar, Hurumzi Street 146 or at MIGOZ Supermarket, Airport Road

  • Thank you!

Dear friends and customers of the DADA project. We like to thank you for supporting us throughout the year 2009 and encouraging us with helpful and constructive criticism. Our wish for 2010 is that more of the hotels will buy Dada products rather than imports to make tourism on the island more sustainable.

  • Visitors welcome!

Please visit the Dada women cooperatives at work. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00. At the Kituo cha Jua in Matemwe, Zanzibar, Tanzania.
